Octobor days....

We had a lovely visit with friends Gregg and MaryLou when they came to stay a couple of days at our place the first week of Octobor. We enjoyed several games of Mexican train and chickenfoot dominoes. We took a trip up to the lake and a short driving tour of our area of Michigan. Here they are in our guest camper parking spot at our place.
On the way home from a visit to a doctor for Mark's back, we came across this amazing rainbow. I got the camera out and the battery was reading as dead. I clicked several times to try to get it to take just one more photo and this is what I finally ended up with. It was a lot brighter, so you have to be fast with a rainbow because before you can hardly blink an eye, it will be gone.
Sort of sounds like a fish story hum???? BUT....I did at least get a little bit of something to show for it. Another trip up to the lake. This below is across the road from our property. The trees are so amazing there!
Here's a shot across the lake from our friends deck. They've gone to FL for the winter. See what you are missing Jim and Bonnie?! It's beautiful!!!
To round out this post, here's Gregg with Keisha. She was having a great time romping around our backyard chasing her frisbe. Such energy!

It's so nice that they we're able to come and visit you there. Wow it's so nice that you had a place for their rig! One of these days you just might find us there, if we can ever get the time to get away!
