Here we are in beautiful Billings, MT with the hosts of the Mountain Chapter Rally, Steve and Carol. We are having a wonderful time. Who says small rallies can't be fun? Friday we took a tour of the bluffs. We were overlooking the city of Billings, but it was pouring down rain. So I wasn't able to get any photos from the truck, but we were way up in the air driving along the edge of cliffs where you can get a great view of the area. We saw Boot Hill Cemetery from up there too.
Here's Mark and Steve Friday morning squinting in the sun before the rain started.

Here's a shot of our spot in the park.

Here's our two rigs together.

The rain let up after a bit and we decided to go into Billings for an Art Walk. Carol made a lunch of yummy burgers before we took off. The art walk was a lot of fun. There certainly are a lot of types of art out there! Here they are deciding which way to go next.

The streets were full of people. There was a band playing and people everywhere. Most of the galleries had free things to nibble on and drink.

Here's a poster from the walk.

I saw this neat old bus station there while on our walk.

Mark wanted to go to a micro brewery, so here we are at Angry Hanks. It was an old gas station that they had turned into a brewery. It was filled to capacity with people. Everyone said that the beer was wonderful.

When we drove down the road leading to the park, Steve noticed a herd of deer on the side of the park. There was a buck with his ladies grazing in the grass.

We hit the sack like a rock and slept like babies. Saturday we plan to go to Custer. Should be another great day with great new friends.

Just read about the fires in Mt. and people having to leave their homes, sure hope you aren't near this area. I sent your site to Doris, hope she enjoys the pic as much as the rest of us have. Take care, be safe and have a safe trip back.
