More fish stories....

More fish stories from the lake....

Our cousins, Art and Laurene came up with their trailer to spend a couple of nights with us. Sure enjoyed their company. Had a fun time fishing out on the lake. The boys didn't want to leave. We made it to shore eventually and I cleaned the catch for the morning and put it into the fridge for dinner that night. We made a trip up to The Turkey Roost for a late lunch and then headed up to Northwood's in Pinconning for some shopping. Art and Laurene found a nice outdoor elevated firepit and we found a large umbrella to replace our 30 year old one down by the lake.

Mark caught a 16" bass yesterday morning. Laurene, Art, Mark and I had fried bass for supper that night.
Art showed off his prize fish from the evening before. He did catch some nice bluegill the next day.
Here's my (Sandy's) northern pike, my catch from a few days ago.

There has been a blue heron fishing just to the north of our dock the past few days. Never have been able to catch him in flight yet. He's too busy spearing fish!

Here's a shot of Mark with his 17" bass that he caught about a week earlier. It was yummy!!!
We are home for a few days seeing as the weather has changed to rain. Have a couple of parties this weekend and then we'll head back up to the lake probably Sunday evening. Looking forward to more days of fishing. Who'd have thought that fishing could be so much fun? LOL
