Carol and Steve treated us to a waffle breakfast this morning. Yummmm!!!! Their son, daughter in law and grandson came to visit. What a cute baby! Do you think that grandpa Steve likes babies? Hey kids, does Steve and Carol's son look like Rob or what?!?!
We took a few photos of the rally attendees. Didn't take too long. This is Carol and Steve......
....and here's Sandy and Mark.....
Here we are all together.....
The rest of you Creekers really missed a fun time. Hope more will make it to the Mountain Chapter Rally next year!
Here's our peacock friend that was admiring himself in Steve and Carol's truck bumper a few days ago.
We took a trip over to Pierce RV in Billings, MT and looked through their trailers that they had on the lot. We all really think that Carol just might have found her dream kitchen in this rear kitchen Cedar Creek.
Carol and Steve put on a great dinner of brats. Here's Carol cooking them up on their grill.
Steve had a little struggle with a chip bag, but he did finally manage to get it open. LOL
After we finished our brats, Steve and Carol cooked a Hawaiian Dessert over the grill. It was yummy! Macaroon cookies and pineapple with a marshmallow.
We ended up our last evening with our friends playing a game of Mexican Train.
Thanks again to our wonderful hosts, Steve and Carol for the Mountain Chapter Rally for the Cedar Creek RV Club. They did a wonderful job with their first rally. We all had a great time and made two wonderful new friends. We hope to meet up with them again soon.

This was a view across the road from the Flying J's in Beach, ND. We paid $2.97 a gallon for diesel.
In some areas, we almost felt like we were in Egypt!
Some of the views were filled with beautiful colors.
The scenery constantly changed. We never knew what was going to be around the next corner.

Just before our stop for the night, we started seeing these horses that pump oil.
We also saw the start of some very HUGE fields of sunflowers. Every field we passed was on the other side of the truck, so I couldn't get a photo.....yet. The sunflower is one of North Dakota's largest crops, so I'm sure that eventually I will get a photo to post here on the blog.

Monday August 6 2007
We headed out today for our next camp stop in Dickinson, ND. The day was clear with the sun beaming down in the 80's for the drive. We said our final good-byes to Steve and Carol, got the truck and trailer loaded up and headed out on I-90. Mark was first to drive, so I took photos. It wasn't long before we were on I-94. I took over driving before we left Montana. I-94 traveled across Montana and into North Dakota. We stopped at a Flying J's for lunch and then headed back down the road with Mark at the wheel again. Again I was able to take photos of our views from the truck. We passed through Roosevelt's National Park and Painted Canyon. We didn't stop at either. The roads were just awful. Reminded us of home! There was a lot of construction, so we decided we had better just truck on through and get set up for the night. Below are some of the views we enjoyed.....
Bighorn River.....

It's not much to brag about, but it does have wifi and not too far off of the freeway. $15 a night through Passport America. We will be back on the road again early tomorrow. Who knows what lies before us. Our next stop will be Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Enjoy and happy travels!
